DATES:                        

27th and 28th May 2010
Travel day 26th May. There will be a function at 7pm on Wednesday 26th May with a theme revolving around Oyster Opening. The cost will be on the delegate with oysters being available for $18 per dozen. The restaurant and bar will be open and entertainment provided.

The conference will start on the 27th with a powhiri at 8.30am and will end on the Friday by 4pm. A great range of speakers and workshops will be provided. Conference dinner will be held on the Thursday night.

TRAVEL
It is recommended that schools book travel as soon as possible as there are limited planes flying in and out of Invercargill. Board of Trustee elections next year may mean it could be difficult booking in a space for BoT members. If you would like to be part of a group booking whereby a $50 deposit needs to be paid and then the balance one month out and a name assigned 24hours before contact Lesley McCardle by the 3rd of March with the number of seats required and what regional airport is concerned.

Any remits to the constitution must be received by 17th May. The constitution may be viewed and printed by clicking on the link at the Constitution tab.

AWARDS

Life membership or recognition award nominations to be received by the Executive Committee at least one month prior to the Annual General meeting (to be held at conference).  For guidelines refer to the link Award Nomination Guidelines.   These nominations can be e mailed to the NZASA secretary at lesleym@mangakahia.school.nz
